Why being an Oiler fan is so f@#$-ing frustrating?

Two years ago the City of Champions was living up to its name. The Edmonton Eskimos had won the Grey Cup (Canada’s version of the Super Bowl) We had just been granted a lacrosse team (Edmonton Rush) and oh yeah the Oilers were just preparing for their run at Stanley. Life was sweet in E-Town and No sports fan could be happier. One year later the Eskimo’s came dead last in the CFL, the Rush came in dead last in the NLL and the Oilers franchise began to unravel. Leafs Cap Situation and Rumors

Ferguson mentioned a few days ago that he is still working on making the Leafs a better team. Since then, trade rumors have been popping out left, right, and center.

The Leafs could benefit from other teams overpaying for Free Agents

A lot of Leaf fans have been upset on how management has handled off-season moves. Numerous of teams have spent big cash and long term contracts to acquire talent. However, there may be a silver lining for the Leafs due to the off season moves. Players like McCabe or Kubina who we thought could not be traded at one point, have potential to be traded. How is this reality? Here are some examples
