I was looking up nhlnumbers.com and I thought I would give some interesting information I looked up. I’ll probably do an update on this later in the year, around All-Star break, but ten games in, it is still entertaining to see where the numbers lie.

PJ Axelsson's overrated offensive ability

I have been reading alot about Axelsson to Ottawa rumours or dreams because he would play well with Alfredsson and because he is an underrated offensive player, but is that actually true?

Rumors from the New York Post

Larry Brooks of the New York Post provides a number of interesting tid bits of speculation.

A Collection of Stories

Rangers, Thrashers, Leafs looking for defensemen

How far will this team go ..!!!!!1

“Brodeur shows his true colors”

EA Sports, whats wrong?

IconSMI

With expectations high, there is disappointment in the air in taking 9 of a possible 20 points in the first 10 games of the season. As a result, there has been plenty of calls for change by Leaf Nation for their beloved Toronto Maple Leafs.

With enough Leaf articles to make Sens fans puke, it’s time for Ottawa fans to speak up.

     Andy Mead/Icon SMI

According to Boston radio station WEEI and many local news stations in my hometown of Boston Bergeron has suffered a broken nose and a concussion and his expected to make a safe recovery and may be released tomorrow afternoon after a 24 hour observation.

TSN.CA is reporting that UFA Danny Markov has signed a 2 year $4mil deal with the russian league squad. He’s not expected to play until mid november.

Note: the contract also allows him to return to the NHL for the 08-09 season

I found a lot of interesting rumours from various other sites and figured I’d pass them on to HTR readers.

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings and right wing Dustin Brown have agreed to terms on a six-year contract extension it was announced Friday by Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi. Per club policy, terms of the agreement were not announced.

Line 'Em Up

Just a Sens fans bored with the lack of seeing his team play trying to generate some intelligent discussion.

TSN.CA is reporting that the Red Wings have re-signed foward Kris Draper to a 3 year $4.75mil contract extension.

Broduer Shows His True Colors

For years I’ve felt left out of the mainstream for arguing that Broduer was overrated and was I dogged for it. I contended that Broduer has always had a good defensive team in front of him (including good defenseman) and that mislead everyone into believing he was better than he actually was. He’d never been on any other team so it was hard for anyone to decifer whether it was the team, or Broduer was in fact The Man.
