The Fan 590 is reporting that Pavel Kubina has pulled the plug on any possible trade and has decided to use his no trade clause to ensure that he remains a Maple Leaf player past the trade deadline.

Boston.com is once again reporting that the Bruins have continued interesting Erik Cole and Keith Tkachuk but they also throw in an interesting third name that could make the Bruins a powerhouse as they move into the playoffs.

Few tiny NHL tidbits to report this afternoon.

The Globe and Mail is reporting that Montréal Canadiens tough guy Georges Laraque has requested a trade. (Well that was on the Fan 990) In the Globe and Mail they are stating that he expects to be traded.

TSN is reporting that the Ottawa Senators are likely to be sellers at this years deadline. One of the names that is being mentioned as could be on the go is Jason Spezza.

TBO.com is reporting that Lecavailer is glad that the trade rumors about his are starting to go away and the MiamiHerald.com is reporting that the Panthers are taking a hard stance with regard to trade talks.

The Latest Canuck News and Rumors

The Vancouver Sun is now reporting that the Canucks GM Mike Gillis is confident that the Canucks will, be able to resign the Sedins to new contracts.

The Globe and Mail is reporting that Antropov is the likely player on the Leafs to be traded before the trade deadline and that Leaf fans can forget about a Kaberle to Ducks deal for Chris Pronger.

Chemistry is a funny and at times, a fragile thing. It kind of follows the mob mentality where people will do things while in a group that they would never do if they were on their own. Like a snowball going downhill, whatever is affecting that chemistry will grow!

Some teams looking for goalies, who's out there?

There are several teams who maybe looking at bringing in some help in goal before the deadline. Here’s a look at some of these teams, and some goalies who may be available:

TSN’s Bob McKenzie believes that it is a good bet that the Ducks will trade Pronger at some point in the near future. If Pronger is not traded before March fourth it is likely that he will be traded in the summer.
