How the hell can you stick control with the right analog stick underneather your left hand, and wrapped around to the back while having to hold down a lever with your right foot and blink twice to open a box with the joystick in it.... i could go on but i lost my train of thought..

actually Madden 08 only runs on 30 fps on the ps3...look it up, the online issues with NHL 08 have been patched. MGS 4 is as good as on 460. The creater of MGS has stated that he is willing and ready to bring metal gear solid 4 to the xbox 360, negotiations have been really heated between the two sides and it is as good as confirmed for the 360. FF 13 is coming for the XBox 360...mark my words. 360 is coming out with titles like: Mass Effect, Halo Wars,An Unknown Halo Project, Gears Of War 2, Fable 2, Splinter Cell 5, Too Human

Sorry to burst ur bubble but COD 4, UTIII and GTA IV are multi-platform, The online play is shit compared to xbl and the 360 is coming out with a home equivalent.

just head along either wing, fake a shot….goalie flails about….shoot at the opposing corner with a guy who has a decent shot…..goal….no way to stop it…if the d picks up on it….fake teh shot then pass for a one-timer…..i personally find it very amusing to see luongo flail about as i fake shots rapidfire….lmao

I'd love to play a game. My tag is Spawn10459.

I had 360 for years. Only reason i got it was because of Halo 2. Just seemed to me thats all the sytem had. I only play sports games now so i could care less. But i hate the 360 controller and i refuse to pay money to play online per month. I'd rather play with ps3 for free. Not to mention i think the internet connection is a lot better than it use to be for ps2. Hockey games were nothing but lag in those days.

Dunno why this guy got so defensive of 360. I personally hate the system. The controlers suck horribley, and most of the games they have i don't play.

I was one of the first people with a regular Xbox and an Xbox 360. I regret spending money on either. Thats my opinion. Paulk is just a moron.

I don't know what other die-hard Leafs fan think, but I think we should trade Sundin. We could fetch a hell of a deal since this man is RED HOT. We could possibly get a PROPER d-man paired with forwards and/or draft picks. Sundin has obviously proven himself as a capable player so teams that need something up front will be shopping around. Tell me what do you guys think?

Well i have a few things to comment on
first will be this whole console war that was brought to this topic because someone was pissed off they said one bad thing about the 360.

If you compare selling statistic for the ps3 this year, and xbox 360 last year they are almost identical. so dont say 360 won, there are still 3+ years till a new console comes out...

i played both nhl games on ps3 and 360. 360 does run smoother, but it they are both identical besides that.

continue to back up 360 as they scam you out.
failed to fix your red wings (extended warranty instead of actually fixing the problem). Keep buying new 360 as each console starts to come with different features....HDMI for example. keep paying to xbobx live that is full of advertisements. if they have advertisements on xbob live that is enough money to pay for the maintance; they are just sucking the money out of you

sure there are things wrong the the ps3, but they are not cheating you out of money and selling you a syestem that cant last two years.
i can go on and on but im not, ill end it here.

now for nhl 08 tips and junk.

Mix up your playing style when u face computers. some games ill be very passive, others ill do a bunch of 1 on 1's. play to what the computers are giving you. if they are pressuring u high deke them out. if they are pochecking go outside. superstar is hard, but its really fun playing hard close games. sure your going to lose some...alot at first but you'll be able to win over 50% once u play them enough.

as far as online goes.... play good defense. it works. Pochecking is god online. when they go for the pass out front u have to switch guys and quickly hit R1. you can call some of the moves exploits, but what can u consider a legit goal? the way i see it..... dont give them the chance to do it. stay in the shooting lanes, block the passes in front(you may have to be the guy standing in front of the net, let the computer chase the guy going on the outside. .Dont give up a breakaway because it is almost a sure goal, unless there is lag.

Yes you are correct about NHL 08 running at 60 on the 360 and 30 on the PS3 but with the severe problems the 360 version has online and off I would much rather have the 30fps PS3 version thank you. As for the "All 08 title being at 30fps on the PS3" comment... NBA Live and FIFA 08 are 60 fps on the PS3 so you are completely wrong and delusional.

Oh the games are coming out bro... The question really is going to be where are the 360 games after Halo 3 that makes the 360 worth owning?

No... They are completely different games. Heavenly Swords is an action adventure game while Halo is a First Person Shooter. Killzone 2 was labled and will be "the Halo 3 killer" even though Halo is no more? Why Does it need to be killed??? It's done!

What?!?!?! They are (and will continue be) EXCLUSIVE TO THE PS3 AND ONLY FOR THE PS3! Look it up, even Sony has said this and they don't say these things unless it is 100% sure. Xbox 360 will not get MGS4 and they won't recieve Final Fantasy.

The Ps3 did not fail it's only been out for a year and is halfway to the 360 that's been out since 05. You are delusional.

The only big game that BOMBED was Lair, Ratchet and Clank has recieved 9.0-9.5 everywhere. Resistance recieved high scores and the list of quality games will continue to grow, get over it. The 360 has won this generation with 11-12 million consoles sold (and that's even skeptical)... Lol, please. Sony won the last generation with over 100 million sold.

Trust me, there is a ton of people waiting for the PS3 to drop to a reasonable price (which it now has at $399) and they are waiting for more good games which are on the way with UTIII, Haze, MGS4, Final Fantasy, Ratchet and Clank, GT5, GTAIV, CoD4 and many more. Plus Free online and Home... Don't worry Sony will be fine lol.

Looking at the lines you created, if the Leafs can get Wellwood and Tucker back healthy, they'll have 3 lines that can score. And even the 4th line is nothing to sneeze at.

Interesting question with Tlusty. If he continues to excel, don't be surprised if he stays. It depends on how much he's playing and whether his solid play continues or whether he tails off, which often happens to very young players when exposed to the rigors of the NHL.
