What if you let the fans vote for who takes part in the Skills Competition? It shouldn't be limited to the players taking part in the All Star game either. You would make it event specific such as Phil Kessel in the target shooting.

Yeah there's alot of similarities in our picks. Alot of the forward picks and the goalies are pretty basic but there seems to be alot of candidates for defence.

This idea sounds familiar. I think it was done once in Montreal and Toronto. I am not sure though.

Ha, that's a cool idea.

Why not let the fans vote one other things, such as the format? What I mean is, why bring back NA vs World (if voted in), or the draft style, or whatever. It should be pretty easy to pick the teams, but less obvious things could still be determined by the fan base.

Take the vote away from the fans. They have proven to be quite inept.

Whichever city is awarded the All-Star game, their team should play the All-Stars. It would generate much more excitement within the city. It certainly couldn't be less exciting than the current format.

I believe they have. I think he's playing with Ryder and Eriksson. I could be wrong. I like your picks though. i wanted to put in Giroux to. I like the way yours has them by the listed positions, not the ones they actually play.

1. I think a ballot is necessary to keep things from getting out of hand. We all remember "Vote for Rory". Plus, it would just be the most popular teams being voted in. There's alot of bad picks and omissions on the ballot, but whatever.

2. It's reliable if done right. I like how the NFL does it. They give you a wider selection to choose from, but they don't include players who have no business being there.
