Another Jacket Down

The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed injured defenseman Rostislav Klesla on injured reserve.Klesla, currently out with a broken hand, may be out for up to six weeks. He broke the hand in a fight with Blues defenseman Eric Brewer.

Klesla has played in four games so far this year, after missing the first 12 with a stress fracture of his leg. He has one goal and 17 penalty minutes. He was the first draft pick in Jackets’ history, in the 2000 version.

Right now, Columbus sniper Rick Nash is out with a knee injury until mid-December.
