Another Jacket Down

The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed injured defenseman Rostislav Klesla on injured reserve.Klesla, currently out with a broken hand, may be out for up to six weeks. He broke the hand in a fight with Blues defenseman Eric Brewer.

Klesla has played in four games so far this year, after missing the first 12 with a stress fracture of his leg. He has one goal and 17 penalty minutes. He was the first draft pick in Jackets’ history, in the 2000 version.

Right now, Columbus sniper Rick Nash is out with a knee injury until mid-December.

On an unrelated note, No offense but i dont think this post will recieve that much comments, so please allow me to add something to the post. I hate to spin your post and make it about Toronto but what can i do i here this rumour. True story no bull$h*t, I heard on RSN that Toronto is talking about trading Jason Allsion to Colombus. Any thoughts.

To CBS: Allison + Tellquvist +Belak

To TOR: Hrdina + Rupp + Leclaire

okay adding Leclaire and Tellquvist was my doing i happen to like Leclaire and think hes not getting the PT he desirves in columbus better

I guess only 2 comments means theres not many Blue Jacket fans out there. Yup hockey in Columbus is definitely way better than having hockey in Winnipeg………………….what a play by Bettman…………………….ugh.

Last month I saw the Nature Boy dropping elbos down on a jacket after slapping Carleito. I did not think anybody got hurt though? Hay! Could someone say something negative about the Flyers… Its been a long time since I’ve read Bigbooty verbally kick someones ass!

Yeah, because this website gauges fans per team correctly.

Take Belak out of the trade, and you might have something going there. I can’t imagine any team wanting to take him. Or Aki Berg for that matter. He is dead weight on a good team. And the Jackets have players who do the job that Belak pretty much does…which isn’t much. Columbus badly needs a number 1 center. I don’t think they’ll want to get rid of Hrdina, but Allison could be worth the risk for them. I like the Jackets, they are a fun team to watch, but without that big ingredient, they can’t really be considered a big threat.

i could see people wanting belak, just as a fighter/4th line enforcer. Definitely not as a defensman. But I guess he has no trade value cuz columbus already has jody shelley and every team has a guy in their system who can just fight.

take leclaire outta that scenario. The bluejackets wont give up there goalie of the future for Allison.

yeh, they arent posting here, therefore they dont exist. Nice logic you have there.

I’m a Penguins fan but I also want to see the Blue Jackets play. Nash by himself is enough to get me to make the 4-5 hour trip to Columbus from here to see him play and I plan to do just that at some point after his return. As far as trades, Columbus should probably just hold fast, get another HIGH draft pick and stock up the way teams like Ottawa and Tampa Bay did…
