Gomez had his hearing Friday. He asked for $7 mil. The Devils offered $4 mil. A decision is expected later today.

I am suprised that the Kings would allow Cammalleri to go to arbitration. He had great #’s last season and why would you risk a bad relationship with a great prospect. Something here makes no sense. Cammalleri led the AHL in goals in 04 and finished second to Spezza in scoring.

Just like Avery, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Lombardi settle with him before going into a messy arbitration process.

Do either of you guys know anything about the Kings Dustin Brown? He isn’t signed and he isn’t on this list and I don’t remember if he filed/didn’t file for arbitration.

Plus I do hope the Kings retain Cammilari without arbitration. He was great last year. One of the few good powerplay scores they had.

  4. Lint07 says:

According to this list, he IS a RFA

No idea either if he filed or not… I guess not.

  5. SensDude says:

Avery just signed with the Kings.

  6. CrosbyMalkin66 says:

    When is Ryan Malones?

  7. Lint07 says:

it was scheduled on July 21.

The decision haven’t been announced yet.

  8. BLUE_AND_WHITE says:

    Gomez deserves 4 mil

If Briere gets 5, then Gomez desereves at least a million less.

Buffalo, New Jersey, and Ottawa may have to trade some guys away depending on the arbitration amounts.
