The Flyers have been off to a great start this season, arguably the best team in the NHL right now. However, like every team in the NHL the flyers are going to try and improve themselves as the season goes on. Below I am going to look at a few players who might find themselves playing in a new city sometime this season…
Being a under-average sized player myself, I’ve always looked up (err, sorta) to the other small players that have made an impact in a so-called big mans game, hopefully in the future there wont be such a prejudice against under-sized players, and an emphasis on lumberjacks like Zdeno Chara who have no real skill other than their massive size.

St. luis blues winger will be out for 4 weeks to six weeks with a broken left foot. Blues genarl manager Lary Pleau said Thachuk was injured in the third period of Wednesday night 7-0 victory over Nashvill. When a puck hit his foot. He limped off the ice but returned for a few shifts. After the game, Thachuk’s wife gave birth to the couples third child, a girl. That delayed an MRI for Tkachuk until thursday when a fracture was discovered. Tkachuk had a team-high 38 goals last season and finished with 75 points

Los Angeles Kings centre Jason Allison has a torn MCL and may have a torn ACL. He is out for the rest of the season, thus really hurting the Kings chance for the playoffs.
The Leafs have played there first 10 games of the 2002-2003 season, and should ask to have those games back. All but 1 or 2 games did the Leafs show what they could do. while all other games played like a bunch of unorganized Pee-Wee players. I think that I have kind of figured out what some of the problems are, and how they could rectify them. There really is no quick fix to solve there woes but if you have watched all there games like I have, you will notice that there are some really big problems screaming at you when you watch.
This summer was full of big trades and huge free agent signings. This seems to be a reocurring theme in the NHL, come summertime, 25-30 players swap jerseys. The question is, which moves appear to be working out best and for who?

Early in the season and almost every team could use a goalie…… Goalies are still available all over the place.
This might be one of the biggest years that almost every team has their goalies up on the trade block….or need a goalie just as bad….
With Gino Odjick is on an indefinite leave of absence, the Montreal Canadiens are in need of an enforcer. According to the LA Times, the Montreal Canadiens are interested in acquiring Anaheim left-winger Denny Lambert.
