According to NHLPA:

The Devils have signed Jeff Friesen to a 1 year 2,280,000 as well to Colin White to a 1 year $1,710,000 and Paul Martin to a 1 year $502,000 contract. This officially puts their payroll at $40,076,929.00 before Patrik Elias signing and Scott Stevens if he returns.

ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION: John Manasso reports Thrashers GM Don Waddell expects to hear back from Peter Bondra early next week regarding a potential signing with the Thrashers. Bondra’s agent claims his client is “quite interested” in playing in Atlanta.
