LeClair Out?

The NYPost reports that John LeClair and the Philadelphia Flyers are willing to part ways by waving the left-winger’s no-trade clause. Larry Brooks, as well as, believe that Flyers GM Bobby Clarke has offered John LeClair to the New York Rangers by even swallowing some of his salary, however, Rangers GM Glen Sather has not shown much interest at all. The report then states that two other teams, unknown, have been talking to the Flyers about LeClair.

Jagr being shown the door in Washington?

It has been reported by the Washington Post that the Capitals will try to unload Jagr on some hapless team before the start of the season next year. This is a major turn around by the Caps after he was signed to a 7 year $77 million contract 2 years ago.

A Cloudy Future For Mike Richter

With all the talk about Patrick Roy calling it quits, it got me thinking about what Mike Richter will do in his final contract year with the Rangers. Last I heard Mike was still having headaches but I heard that last month and I am not even certain about how much truth was in that rumor. Mike has a tough decision to make. Does he leave the game knowing that he could still play and still play to the calliber of some of the ellite goal tenders in the league. Or does he decide to give it one last shot leaving it all on the ice. Personally I would like to see him let it ride and play.
