I am not so much a detracter as I am a realist.

I am not impressed with the Av's.

They are a two line team, with the leagues most overrated defense.

Its only been four games and the best you can do is boast about being tied with Calgary????

Get real, Dallas and Detroit have more depth and better defensively.

Let's talk again in a few months when the Av's are fighting for third place in the Northwest Division.

Whoa Whoa Whoa, I've been coming to this site for awhile, never have I felt the need to make an account and comment on anything, until now. NHL fans whether they be Colorado fans or not need to just calm down. We are 4 games into the season, and already all the morons come out of the wood work to say either "The goaltending sucks" or "the goaltending will be so good it will rival Patty Roy's great rookie season" what a suprise, 4 games into the season and we still have no clue as to which assumption is correct! Can't we all act like actual hockey fans and enjoy sitting back and waiting to see what happens? The only person not effected by the naysaying and the wishful thinking, is the one guy who really matters.... Good ol Pierre the magician. We all know this guy is sitting back waiting to pull a rabbit out of his hat... and if he doesnt? Simple, Avs fans will form a lynch mob, trap him in a barn, and set it on fire. All we can do is hope Celene will be in the barn with him....

I find this totally amazing yet typical. Last year Dallas had Turco as a rookie goalie (as a starter) coming in with an outstanding GAA & SA% in his two prior years (first two) as backup to Belfour. He also had an outstanding College record and GAA & SA%. Hardly anybody but Dallas fans were giving him any chance/credit at all last year. He stepped up to the plate and proved many of you wrong last year. Now Aebischer comes up as the new starter for the Avs and all of a sudden so many are saying that he is going to be the "HOT" one. Now what has happened to all of these people saying, "Hold on, we have to wait and see first" like last year?

Now we have somebody saying how great he is after playing only 3 games. WOW!!!!!!! Typical.
