Looks like there looking for a bunch of needs that leafs have depth at.. second/third line centres and defence. Think it'll be fun putting a few proposals out there.

Proposal 1.

To Chi: Carl Gunnarson

To Tor: Jimmy Hayes + 4th round pick

Proposal 2:

To Chi: Mathew Lombardi + 3rd/2nd round pick

To Tor: Andrew Shaw

Proposal 3:

To Chi: Tyler Bozak + Gunnarson + lombardi

To Tor: Andrew Shaw + Dave Bolland + 4th round pick

Proposal 4:

To Chi: Lombardi + Schenn + Macarthur + Tyler Bozak+ 2nd round pick

To Tor: Andrew Shaw + Jimmy Hayes + Patrick Sharp+ Dave Bolland

Doubt proposal 4 happens but it sets chicago up with one of the best defence core in the league with keith, seabrook, schenn, hjalmarsson. with decent secondary scoring with macarthur - bozak - hossa. and able to move kruger down to the third line and have brunette- lombardi - kruger. The trade will give chicago a much faster team.

A little iffy with this trade because it still does not give us a number one centre. But it makes us bigger down the middle, a real nice rookie in andrew shaw who has 5 goals in 9 games. Bolland comes in and helps our improving PK. and Sharp will work nicely with kuli and grabo.

Then at the deadline try to package kadri+ Aulie+ armstrong+ 1st(if its for a legit a number one) centre. That lineup will have a bunch of role players that know there job and will compete in the playoffs.
