Blue Jackets sign Jason Chimera to a four year deal
The Columbus Blue Jackets have announced that the club has inked LW Jason Chimera to a four-year contract extension.
The deal will pay Chimera $1.875M per season.
The former Oiler and Coyote is the Blue Jackets fifth leading scorer with nine goals and 23 points and a -6 to go along with 49 penalty minutes in 55 games.
I think its a great signing for the Blue Jackets and Chimera has seemed to fit in well with Ken Hitch*****’s system. From 17 goals, 15 goals, to 9 goals this season Chimera is definetly a bargain in my oponion and brings good leadership and defensive game each and every night.
