Blues offering Colaiacovo, Kariya, Tkachuk

Keith TkachukThe NHL has a trade freeze that starts on Friday due to the Olympics and then is thrown open briefly for the first few days of March after the Games end. It’s looking like the thirteenth-place St. Louis Blues are trying to get rid of defenseman Carlo Colaiacovo before then, according to TSN.ca.

The Blues are apparently readly to listen to offers for a lot more than just their 27-year-old defenseman. Paul Kariya(notes) and Keith Tkachuk(notes) will both be unrestricted free agents this summer and the team, which claims its still in the fight for a playoff spot, is apparently open to trading either.
