Bob Errey returning to the NHL?

Bob Errey, who will turn 37 on September 21, has decided to come out of retirment and give the game one more try.

It was announced on Monday that Errey, the Pens number one draft pick in 1983 and winner of two Stanley Cups with the Pens, plans to enter the Pens camp in Pittsburgh on September 11 in an attempt to make the Pens squad for the upcoming season. It is not known whether this was an invitation to Errey or if he requested the opportunity from the Penguins organization. The Penguins are celebrating the tenth anniversary of their first ever Cup win which Errey was an integral part of in the 1991 season.

Errey has spent the past two season in the broadcast booth providing color to the play-by-play calls of Mike Lange.
