Bondra To The Leafs?
Sportsnet is reporting that Unrestricted Free-Agent has been contacted by the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Detroit Red Wings. Bondra believes he has one more season in him. Bondra scored 21 goals and 39 points in 60 games last season with Atlanta.
I personally see the Leafs signing Bondra simply because they have a past with these older players but not if Maurice has anything to say about it. Maurice has stated time and time he wants a younger more skilled team but we’ll have to wait and see. I believe if Bonda signs with Toronto .. he’ll be playing on a line with Mats Sundin and Alex Steen.
Only Time Will Tell.
