Brad Richards on the Block
The Globe ad Mail is reporting that Tampa Bay forward Brad Richards may be on the trading block.
Word out of the recent GM meetings is that a league source is saying that Tampa Bay is looking to shop Brad Richards. There are several difficulties in the movement of this player however. First off, Richards has a no trade clause and secondly, Richards still has three years left on his mega contract in which he earns 7.8 million dollars per year.
Other tid bits from Tampa that are included in this article include the possibility that Chris Gratton, Jan Hlavac and defenceman Filip Kuba are all on the trade block.
