Briere says he’s talking with eight teams, including Sabres
There’s about a 1 in 8 chance those Daniel Briere jerseys stuffed in the closets of Sabres fans will come back in style.
The free agent center, who was bought out by the Philadelphia Flyers, tells The Buffalo News he’s had contract chats with Buffalo.
“We are talking to about eight teams,” Briere said in a text. “Sabres one of them.”
