But he looks like he has the tools to be an above average NHL Dman. Colborne is a wild card, as he could be the next Thornton or something. Not likely…. but he is a big forward and a 1st rounder last year. You never know what could come of him. Then to give up a first round pick, wow. Perhaps that is the asking price. I guess this deal doesn't cost them a Krecji or a Wheeler or a Kessel. I would also love Pronger for the playoffs. A big, nasty dman that can play a lot of minutes, what isn't to love about that. I think Boston is a contender right now, and by adding a Pronger that is a HUGE HUGE piece. The more I keep typing, I want Boston to make a move for Pronger.
