Buffalo trying to sign both Drury and Briere?
It would appear that the Buffalo Sabres are trying their hardest to get one or both of Drury and Briere under contract before their go free on Sunday morning.
Tim Panaccio of the Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that the Sabres have offered both Drury and Briere contracts that may be worth about 6 million per year for terms of five years. Put differently, 30 million dollar contracts.
If will sure be interesting to see what happens. It should not be overlooked that Panaccio continues his speculation that the Flyers will make a run at Gomez (don’t we all ready now that?).
