Busy Off-Season in Hab Land??

This off-season could bring many changes in Hab land and according to CKAC some deals are likely to happen…According to CKAC 730 (in mid may, excuse the lateness but the rumors have still been going on) french radio station, Saku Koivu would want UFA Teemu Selanne to come join him with the Habs next season. Selanne would apparently sign for less money to be reunited with his finnish friend. If these following things DO come true we should have a cup contender in Montreal next season! If everything CKAC says come true (which I doubt) this off-season will include:

-Patrice Brisebois being traded

-Stéphane Quintal not being re-signed

-Alex Kovalev being signed for 4 M$

-Teemu Selanne signed for 3 M$

-Pierre Dagenais released

-Darren Langdon re-signed

-Mike Ribeiro, Richard Zednik & Michael Ryder all given new contracts

-Habs trade/sign defensemen Brendan Witt

Therefore the lines would look like this:

Kovalev Koivu Selanne

Zednik Ribeiro Ryder

Ward Begin Sundstrom

Langdon Plekanec (Perezoghin ???)

Souray-Komisarek

Rivet-Markov

Bouillon-Witt

Theodore

Garon

Again these are just rumours that I picked up off CKAC and I hope they are right. Today they were saying that Theodore should not be traded, a couple days after they were scolding him. I hope these transaction/signings/not signings come true…
