Nice move by the Sharks, may help them move deeper in the playoffs.

Hopefully the Sens can sign Campbell and ignore Redden come free agency.

Well done Buffalo. They learned from their past mistakes and made sure to get SOMETHING instead of nothing.

This raises a couple problems though. If the Sabres do indeed want to make the playoffs, they'll likely need some kind of defenseman to replace Campbell.

The 1st rounder is excellent, but it'll be like a 25th overall pick, so not as important as if it was from a bottom-dwelling team, still great though.

Steve Bernier has lots of potential still and could strive in Buffalo. I hope so.

In fact, of all the trades so far, two of them are in my pool. Jussi Jokinen and Steve Bernier, both slumping before. Maybe now they can pick it up and win me the pool for the third year running!
