A very cheap option would be Oleg Petrov. He scored 24 goals two years ago for the Habs and I think was bought out of his contract by Nashville.

From the ‘Canes perspective, I think O’Neill might be had if things aren’t going well, the new kids (Vrbata, Bayda, Staal?) are lighting the lamp, and he starts shooting his mouth off like last year. The ‘Canes would probably want an offensive defenseman in return. They’d probably be willing to throw in Aaron Ward on a cost shared basis. They might even sneak Irbe into somebody’s luggage for the trip west. I don’t think Roddy’s going anywhere. He’s a fixture in the community and the next captain of the ‘Canes.

Yeah, i know Titans. He’s jealous of my fame and a couple of my spurts out there(wow) which got my 100′s of enemies. Right Titans? I think 10-20 quit wow because of me. And 40-70 threatened to. I’m just a little devil.

just a picky detail...call me a jerk if you want, but i don't mean this in a smart-alec way:

your post is entitled, "Canucks RW options," but nearly everyone you have listed plays either center or LW.

i know people can shift forward spots, but shouldn't you be considering a few actual RW's if indeed you are looking for a RW?
