Columbus bringing back Ken Hitch*****??

Plenty of rumours that Columbus ownership is considering forcing a change behind the bench — bringing back Ken Hitch*****. The team is paying him $1.3 million on a deal ending after this season.
Don’t see how this would be anything but a lose-lose for everyone involved — the players, Hitch*****, GM Scott Howson, everybody. They didn’t mesh before and it’s hard to see that improving in a difficult time. Good ownership would not make this kind of decision. If you’re going to make a change, find a fresh voice.

A number of teams have asked about the availability of Rick Nash. Columbus said very little chance he gets moved at this time.

haha no kidding, why would Columbus give up their franchise player who has 6 years left on his deal? Unless your getting someone like Malkin back, there is absolutely no point.

Another awesome night for the oilers kid line, combined for 5 pts.

who woulda thought that all 3 of them would be playing at a point a game pace.
and there have been some nice surprises on defence, tom gilbert is doing everything for the oilers, corey potter is doing phenomenal, andy sutton is playing a solid defensive game with plenty of physicality and ladislav smid is playing finally up to his potential.
the off season moves they made by bringing in Smytty, belanger and sutton are looking genius.
eager and hordichuk have been injured and i cant really comment on the impact theyve had so far, which is 0.
one thing that surprised me about eager though was how fast he is, he might be the fastest oiler now that cogs has been moved to Anh.

Ya things would have to get crazy in Columbus prompting Nash to absolutely demand a trade.

Once Wisniewski is back from suspension and if they can get Carter healthy soon, they actually might be a half decent team, but waiting until the 8th, 9th game?? to get the first win, they're so far behind the 8-ball, they need to go on a crazy run just to catch back up with the pack.

They're going to need to win 75% of their games in November, or 65% of their games throughout November and December in order to keep pace now. Doesn't look too good.
