i’ve seen a lot of posts ragging maclean and the jackets.
they’re not really doing such a bad job of growing slowly and carefully, are they?
Personally I think the Jackets are doing a fairly good job, both of these signings are safe ones given that Marc Denis will finally be given a chance to play this season. From what I’ve read the Jackets also have a good young core so some solid veteran d should make a difference and improve this team.
Who knows they may even crack 65 points this season. Good signings because I wish the Leafs would have gotten these guys!

The Blue Jackets are making some good moves.. getting solid veteran defensemen is always a plus.
Columbus and Maclean are doing excellent in the building process and should be playoff contenders in the next few years.
