Conn Smythe. Who's your vote?
Assuming the Ducks close out the series, I don’t see this being one of those few years where a player from the losing team takes it. Either way, who do you think will win it?Personally, I think Giguere will win it (again). Honorable mentions are Pronger, whose +9 is superior to Neidermayer’s +1, not to mention 4 more assists/points in 2 less games, but his double suspensions will probably marr his chances as well. Getzlaf has also been amazing, but I think Giggy will take it home again.
If somehow Ottawa pulls of the miraculous, it’s hard not to make a case for playoff goal-scoring leader Alfredsson, who has finally shed himself of the choke-artist label. Sadly, he has replaced it with cheap-shot artist, and I’d hate to see him rewarded for it (like Pronger). Thankfully I doubt the Sens will win. It seems destined for the Ducks to win this. Emery would also be an honorable mention.
