This kid sounds like an absolute punk. I heard he wants the JVR contract. Granted JVR's contract was more of a "potential" one but he's shown a hell of alot more than Turris has.

It's true yes to some degree he should just be thankful to even play in the NHL. On the other hand Phoenix is moving, it's going to happen and all the drama over the last few years is definitely stressful on the current players wondering where they're headed to next.

I'm not saying I agree with him but I can see why he'd ask for a trade. Once his current contract expired he'd be hesistant to extend for who knows how many years into what is very likely going to a messy situation for quite some time.

So what's the odds that he gets moved by Dec. 1st ???

I'm betting he won't be dealt, and he'll actually cave and sign a 1 year contract with the Coyotes.

On the other hand, maybe with these public comments he's now turned his back on his teammates, so it won't be possible to go back?

ive heard that the flames,canadians and ottawa are interested, but none want to give up much. ive heard talk about a 3 way deal also involving the edmonton oilers,winnepeg jets and phoenix coyotes, that goes like this.

sounds like he's been hearing all of the spoiled brat copmments written about him and he wants to sound like he has had this stance since the end of last year. the fact is that he is lucky to be on any team in the NHL. and get payed millions for something you love to do. trade him to toronto so those fans can scrutinize his every move, he's lucky to be in phx where they dont give a sh!t about hockey.
