Devils and Titans Together As One
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — The New Jersey Devils have bought a controlling interest in the minor league Trenton Titans, formerly the Philadelphia Flyers’ affiliate in the East Coast Hockey League.
Under the agreement announced Thursday, Ron Berman, the team’s chief executive officer, will retain a minority interest in the team. The Berman family has owned the team since it began play in the ECHL in 1999.
Details of the transaction were not made public.
