Eagle Has Landed
The Florida Panthers agreed to terms with Belfour on a one-year, incentive-based contract which will pay the goaltender in the vicinity of $750,000 base salary. Depending on games played, games dressed and playoff bonuses, the Eagle’s salary could rise to well over $1.5 million.

ya, and i wasn’t replying to you.
A lot of people are saying if he makes it to the 1.5 mil mark. But it says WELL OVER 1.5 mil. I wonder if thats because he could easily get to 1.5 mil. But their are other incentives that could land him upwards of 2 or 3 mil. I dunno, i could be wrong, does anyone else know more about that?
Maybe it has something to do with Nolan’s history of battling teams over getting paid for injuries and the way he left the Leafs.
