End in sight in the Sundin saga?
The Ottawa Sun is reporting that the end is finally in sight for the Mats Sundin saga.
It is speculated that Mats Sundin will be with a NHL team by December first. The article indicates that it is very unlikely that he will suit up for the Leafs once again as if he had an intention to return to the buds he most likely would have already taken their 7 million dollar offer.
Although there are many teams that are interested in Sundin the article makes it clear that teams may have to clear cap space by making trades or demoting players. It is also stressed in the article that both the Senators and the Canadiens may not be Sundins first choice due to the fact that they are major rivals of the Leafs.
