What was that first point? Something about prospects?

Strange how I would associate being a young prospect trying to crack the NHL with playing in the AHL.

The whole point was that if he really wanted to stick around the NHL he would rather play in the AHL over the KHL.

No transfer agreement.

i agree but the ahl offers the north american game. does the KHL use nhl size rinks? or are they the olympic sized rink?

Honestly the KHL has harder competition than the AHL. I mean seriously the AHL is a combo of players who...

A) Are Prospects who can't crack their temas lineup and are too old for likes of OHL,WHL, etc.

B) Players who are being buried to rid of cap hits.

C) Dime a dozen grinders.

From a competitive stand point the KHL offers more of an edge to play against. But then again people don't like when you think about the well being of your development.

Only a 3rd, but this could bite the Sens in the ass in the long term.
