Flyers place players on waivers
HockeyBuzz is reporting that the Flyers have placed both Dowd and Fitzpatrick on waivers.
It seems that the Flyers are trying to clear payroll possibly to make a larger deal. What is interesting is that Fitzpartick is a steady d-man who does not hold too much salary cap space. He may be a good pick up for a team in order to provide some defensive depth come playoff time.
