Forsberg DOESN'T NEED 2nd surgery, BACK BEFORE SEASON?
Flyers star center Peter Forsberg learned today that he will not require reconstructive surgery on his left foot.
The Flyers have scheduled a 5 p.m. conference call to map out Forsberg’s rehabilitation schedule.Forsberg originally was expected to be sidelined until the beginning of January after having his right foot repaired in a surgery on May 15.
With no need for a second surgery, it is possible Forsberg could return to the Flyers’ lineup as early as November.
