Forsberg Signs – With MODO

Spectors Hockey and Sport Bladet (based in Sweden) are reporting that Peter Forsberg has agreed to a deal with Modo of the Swedish Elite League.

It is reported that he is expected to begin to play on February 13th.

HTR notes that it will be interesting to see if there is a release clause in his contract. MODO would be a perfect test of his oft injured feet and would provide a great opportunity for him to get into game shape for another return to a NHL team. It is well known that the Flyers and Avalanche are highly interested in his services.
