Who do I think will make the playoffs? let’s see

I don’t think tampa will hold on, i think tampa has one of the worst goaltending in the conference

carolina has gerber

ottawa has hasek, but now have emery who is playing stroung

rangers have lundkvist

sabres have miller and biron

flyers have nitiimaki

devils have brodeur

habs have huet

lightning only have burke and grhame who are not solid goaltenders, and have been on and off all season and have not been playing good as of late.

thrashers have Kari Lehtonen, who has seemed strong at times

islanders have dipietro

leafs have belfour and tellqvist

so as you can see not only the teams that are in the playoffs have strong goaltending, but also the teams that are currently not in the playoffs, and the lightning as sliping very fast due to their poor goaltending and the thrashers, leafs and isles who have had strong goaltending as of late are moving up in the standings.

The islanders have a good chance of making the playoffs, but I am surprised they are interested, since they did more selling than buying at the deadline, and gave away one of their highest goal scorers.

I’m actually surprised the thrashers are in contention of the playoffs, kovalchuk, hossa, bondra and savard have carried this team all season long and that’s all they have.

The leafs are playing really strong as of late. in the 2000-2001 season toronto was in the same situation they had to win like their last 10 games of the season to make the playoffs and they made it. So Pat Quinn has been in this situation before. Sundin, Tucker, Kaberle, Mccabe have all been part of the team that season and they know what it takes, and their goaltending has become strong at the right time.

I think either the leafs or isles will make the playoffs, tampa will not hold on and I don’t believe in atlanta.

leafs and isles both have one game in hand on top of the thrasher and lighting
