Every member starts with 25 points.

Place the bet for a hockey game before the hockey game starts. Do NOT place all bets for every game in one day. For example, Mantaray places a bet for the first hockey game only. After that hockey game is finished, he will place his bet for the next game.

When to place bets:

The deadline to place bets is at 6:30 PM Eastern Time. For afternoon games, the deadline is at 12:45 pm Eastern Time.

I will use Mantaray vs Rushing as an example (remember, both start with 25 points).

Mantaray bets 5 points that the Senators will beat the Stars.

Rushing bets 8 points that the Stars beat the Senators

If the Senators win, then Mantaray gains Rushing’s 8 points, and are added to his total of 25 points, making it a total of 33 points.

Vice versa with Rushing if the Stars win.

If Rushing bets 8 points for a tie, and Mantaray 5 points that the Senators win, then here is what happens if the Senators tie the Stars:

Rushing wins both his 8 points and Mantaray’s 5 points. He will add 13 points to his original 25, totaling it to 38.

If neither placed a bet for a tie, and the Senators tie the Stars, then both Mantaray and Rushing lose whatever points they betted. So, if Mantaray betted 5 points and Rushing 8 points, then Mantaray is down to 20 points, and Rushing is down to 17 points.

If a member does not place a bet by the deadline, he/she will lose the same amount of points as the total score of the hockey game. For example:

Mantaray does not make a bet on the Senators and Stars game. The final score is 4-2 Stars, total of goals in the game is 6, so that means that Mantaray loses 6 points from his 25 points (down to 19 points).

Ok, that’s about it. Ask as many questions before the deadline on January 27th, please…don’t want to answer questions at the last minute.

As for the members who are not in this DEMO, but want to join the game, watch carefully so you will get the hang of it.

Take care alls

Every member must at least bet 3 points. Rushing asked a good question. He also said that it’d be cheap for a member to bet low number of points every game; he propose the idea of a member winning his own betted points. Thing is, a member could then always bet 3 points and win or gain those 3 points every time, keeping him/her on an even up and down scale.

We’ll see though. It’s 25 total points, not a whole lot so you have to be smart. Also, this is a DEMO and it’s almost like testing if these rules work and if anything needs to be changed.

For now, I will get a topic bubble for this game as soon as possible. How about calling Gambler’s Table? Anyway, bet on this post STATING EXACTLY THIS:

I Challenge (member’s name) for # points on (insert the date of the game); (team @ team).

If both members bet that the same team wins, and it does win, then both player win whatever points they betted.
