Habs have blueliner injuries

According to tsn.ca the Habs may have some trouble on the blueline to start the season as Francis Boullion, as reported earlier, will fly to Colorado to possibly have knee surgery after he experienced pain in his knee when he started skating.

It seems that Mark Streit also is experiencing pain in his knee, which appears to be tendinitis, which may be the result of too much time on the stationary bike. If both these guys are not ready by training camp, altough Streit isnt a starter i would be led to believe that Bob Gainey would trade for a defenceman. This also depends on whether or not Boullion gets surgery because that would lengthen his time off. Vishnevski maybe? yes the ducks accepted his arbitration award, but theres speculation that he still might be traded as GM BrianBurke would like some room for some deadline deals later in the season.
