what does WOULD'VE SIGNED mean… does that mean that they have?????were going to and something happened…… i also did not see it on TSN's website…. is there a specific link.
Probably from television?
I can't wait to see how much Handzus got…because I think he's the second line center we needed in Montreal. Better not be a steal, otherwise I'll go knocking on Gillett's door to get Gainey's job.
Kopitar – Handzus – Frolov
Nagy – Camalleri – Calder
I have to hand it to LA. They had a rough day yesterday not being able to sign some of the big names. But Handzus, Nagy and now Calder are just what they might need to get themselves back into the playoffs. NOw, all they need is a goalie due to the inconsistencies and oft injured Cloutier. Three great players for about the price of 1.5 to 2 of those big names from yesterday.
If Cloutier would finally not get injured he'd be a decent goalie. Almost everyone here in Vancouver hates him but I thought he was good enough. He's a solid goalie and has the ability to steal a game. The injury problem is what makes him unappealing, as well as the contract he gets compared to how many games he plays. I'm hoping he has a comeback year, and if he does, this Kings team is really taking form fast. So many all star young guys, and now some experienced players. I hope they bring back *****ufuji (sp?) cause a japanese goalie is just plain cool hahaha.
Well the Kings had to do something because they weren't even at the league minimum for payroll. Handzus for 4 years I'm not too sure about. These players may help them get in the playoffs but the Kings are a work in progress so I really wasn't relying on them landing one of the big names. Everyone just needs to keep developing and hopefully Dustin Brown's time for a breakout is next year, along with the continued progress of O'Sullivan, Kopitar, Johnson, and some others coming up. I guess I'm neutral as far as these 4 signings go. It simply does not seem to be the Kings time just yet. Goalie is a must! Cloutier was ass last year. The Japanese goalie is gone. You simply can't blow Luc Robitaille Night by letting a puck go in off of your glove and expect to be back. Typical Kings! Oh Well! Gotta love your team. F the Ducks!!!
