Amigo, is it done series by series, or in one full go all the way to the end?

You’ve got the First Round in Red Italics, but after that it just goes to normal black, know what I mean?

    I’m a bit confused.

I filled it out the whole way through, but I wont send it to you until you’ve cleared this up, as I’m sure that you are about to be bombarded with them.

    Do you understand my question?

  2. habs_punk says:

Do we predict each series right through to the Stanley Cup basing each consecutive series on who we predicted to win the previous series? Or is it just one series at a time?

  3. habs_punk says:

Sorry, didn’t see the above msg when I posted.

  4. Gretzkin says:

It’s okay, you may have worded it better.

  5. paul_dc10 says:

Um hey man, great idea and good setup, SEPT, u messed one thing up its not like a braket

for example, say i picked ottawa and carolina to win first round, them being 1 and 2 seed in east, they wont play each other next round, but thats what you put

well i dont know im just a bit confused as well

  6. Lint07 says:

    1 shot.

you can’t change your picks once the series are started.

  7. Lint07 says:

    All the way through.

Once the series are started you can’t change your picks

  8. Gretzkin says:

For that, I just advanced the proper teams

ie. Highest advancer vs. Lowest, followed by 2nd best vs. 2nd worst.

I think that’s the right way, though when you look back, it doesn’t look right, like a Tennis “Tree”, but that’s what my feeling is, you know, to continue the matchups.

He did it right, that’s how they do it on Vids and in Real Life.

  9. Lint07 says:

you have to set your own bracket with your predicted winners after round 1.

    example:

you predict #1, 2, 4 ,6 to win in 1st round then you have to make it 1 Vs. 6, 2 Vs. 4 in your 2nd round, etc.

Let me know if that wasn’t clear.

  10. Gretzkin says:

Thanks Man, that’s what I thought, just trying to make it easier on you.

    Coming down the pipe…

  11. Gretzkin says:

Would it help you if everyone Added the first 3 letters of their name to the Original name of the file so you’re not saving the same file over and over? That might make life easier for you?

  12. Gretzkin says:

Don’t want to make things harder though, it’s a pain in the ass for me is all, when you get the exact same file, and it wants to replace others… never mind, sorry… I’m a drinker…

  13. Lint07 says:

nah it’s alright. When people write their name on the subject field I replace the file name with their HTR name when I save it.

    thanx though.

  14. tacitus says:

my excel requires a product key that i dont have. So can u tell me the amount of players/postions ?

  15. brewstar03 says:

When will you post the results for the 2005-2006 season pool?

  16. Lint07 says:

    in the following days…

  17. Lint07 says:

you have to guess each playoffs series winner and the number of game up to the Stanley Cup finals.

    you then pick:

    1 forwards

    1 defensemen

    1 goalie.

  18. paul_dc10 says:

    i got it now thanks

  19. Resmo112 says:

I don’t really get the whole pick a forward thing, but oh well.

  20. Devilsfan99 says:

    :S i have a concern

i just signed up, i believe i entered 2 by accident. sorry about that. they are both the same it just sent twice. Please don’t disqualify me.

  21. Lint07 says:

    sure, no problem.

    thanx for notifying me.
