if the Habs are high on Campbell on the UFA market, then why not :

Markov + 1rst round pick vs Jokinen + Kilger + 3rd round pick

and then, let Bouwmeester sign an offer sheet and take the 4 1rst round picks.

Your idea of the Sabres moving Paetsch is one I had not considered, and its a possibility. Not likely in a deal for Jokinen unless both #1s were sent with him though. I don't think I see the Sabres making that big splash deal anyway because Jokinen would likely leave them in 2 years too. Their concentration is rebuilding a perennial contender for several years, not just the next 2. With so many young players to be resigned for long term I just don't see them wanting another guy to eat $6 million a year aside from Vanek. Paetsch also has a couple years left on a very affordable deal and hasn't gotten a ton of playing time in Buffalo. I could see him go in a package deal to move up into the top 10 with Kotalik or Afinogenov.

Of all the "How to get Stamkos" posts on here this is the first one I think that could actually happen.

TB's goaltending problems go away with Luongo and he ends up back in Florida with his wife and child while Vancouver gets a forward to replace Naslund and someone who could become a true superstar.

I think this would be a trade that TB would at least listen to. Not like 99% of the crap that's posted about Tucker, Kubina, Raycroft, a bag of pucks and an old hot dog found under the Coke machine at the ACC for TB's #1 pick.
