Like I said, he's in some dream land where everything is positive and the Leafs are a decent team with really good players.

There are two types of Leaf fans...You have the positive, delusional ones like mojo...And then you have Leaf fans like us that are not afraid to give their opinion and be very critical.

I don't think it makes much sense. He wouldn't really add anything in my opinion. I suppose he could play center but I don't think he has any top line upside. He wouldn't bring the size we need. I suppose he would be a nice add should we trade a MacArthur or someone but I just see it as unnecesary.

It's gotta be the team. Erie is one of the worst teams I've ever seen. I think Kingston held back Spooner a bit too. Fortunate that both guys got dealt as its so easy to be kept in check if you're on an island.

Do I really need to spell it out for you? The logic is, JVR was concussed coincidentally when the trade rumor got serious, ie, when Holmgren started actively shopping him.

This is another Marc Savard rumor. Philly is shopping him to see what they can get for damaged goods. It's not rocket science Reinjosh.

How does concussion equal something wrong with rumor? Not seeing the logic that leads to that.

Dave Luce visiting Leafs for a couple games straight, scouting them. Last times the rumors existed of Flyers making moves, they usually happen (Versteeg trade, rumors were present for like three weeks beforehand, Carter trade, Ruchards trade from Eklund).

Leafs known to have coveted JVR for a while, and asked for him last year in Versteeg trade.

Burke states he's looking at making a move swapping a young 22 year old at position for a 22 year old at another position. Schenn 22, JVR 22.

It all adds up. Just because it didn't happen didn't mean they weren't talking about it. And neither Burke nor Holmgren are likely to get ripped off, meaning it would likely be a fair trade (Schenn for JVR basis isn't exactly unfair).

Not exactly seeing what you are.

Oh and the kicker? As soon as the concussion is announced Dave Luce happens to not be at the very next Leaf game scouting them lending credence to fact that JVR was in fact the player that was being talked about and since the concussion it killed talks...

Actually Biron has been doing great this year he is winning games for them and is playing rather well for a back up. Honestly I have him up there with Rask atm for best Back up in the league.
