there is no way montreal would have made the playoffs without those brilliant deadline acquisitions by their savvy management.

oh wait, are we talking about the 1971 deadline or the 2007 deadline?

Well let's wait and see. If the Wings get to the late rounds Bertuzzi will have made an impact, most likely (and hopefully not a criminal impact). Roberts has already made an impact, this year and beyond; with his Yoda-like teachings to the youngsters and showing the younger-older players (Malone types) the way of their type.
Foppa is a playoff player. It amazes me that people forget this. Let's not say anything about him until the playoff run is over, lest he make us look foolish.

I'd say several guys have, and could make impacts on their respective teams before the season ends.

I'm not saying he hasn't been good, but i'm just saying is getting someone like Guerin going make that big a of a difference? Is it worth giving up your future for (not neccesery that deal, but most other one's)

Yes Forsberg has only 2 goals probably because he sets them up for his teamates better than anyone and in the playoffs he is amazing thats why he was a good pickup i just hope philly gets him back in the offseason

Peter Forsberg has 15 points in 17 games. That's almost a point per game if my math is right. Forsberg has never scored more than thirty goals in a season his whole career. It's what he does in the playoffs that makes him so coveted. 61G/101A=162P in 139 career playoff games is just plain rediculous! Your assessement of Forsberg is terribly wrong. I really don't think you have clue. Do your homework next time.

no intelligence went into this article. this was a busy trade deadline. a lot of key players were moved and helped teams get into the playoffs. the jury is still out on all of the trades because these players are acquired to produce in the playoffs anyway.
