versteeg was was 134th overal in the 5th rnd so statistically speaking this 1st rnder could very well be better than versteeg and plus there is no way we were gonna be serious cup contenders by this or next years playoffs which is when his contract expires

We basically gave Versteeg away.

The Flyers first round draft pick will more than likely be in the late 20's, in a really garbage draft.

Why couldn't we get JVR?

We pretty much just dumped salary. We got nothing in return.

Versteeg to Philly for a 1st and third rounder.

I'm going to pull a Mojo...Called this earlier last week.

I have siad Versteeg will be gone and that Philly would be the likely destination.

And how many of those guys did Tucker fight with not even a year in the NHL under his belt???

Tucker fits in nicely as a comparison to Ruttu and Avery whom YOU compaired Subban to.

Does Pronger not have a LONG list of enemies? Does he not "run his mouth"? Does he not pull douchebag moves? Has he not been suspended for both running a guy head first into the boards and stepping on another guy with his skate? More importantly, is Mike Richards aware of this? Has he handed out the crown of "respect" to Pronger? Is he likely to ask for it back when he does find out about these less than respectful moves Pronger has done?

In case you still haven't caughten on yet I'm using Pronger as an example of how Mike Richards has no footing from which to hand out "respect". For another example of this see the TSN article about Lemieux b*tching about the Islanders dirty play while Matt Cooke is still on the Penguins pay roll.
