Isles frontruner to land Satan

The Sabres are receving offers from 3 teams for Winger Miro Satan. I know one of them is the devils, however the team that is the frontruner for the multiple 20 goal scorer is the Islanders.

The Islanders are offering wingers Mark Parrish and 2nd year winger Mattias Weinhandl. Parrish’s stats might seem to fit close to Satan’s. However, Parrish is not consistent like Satan and he goes cold around this time of the year. Weinhandl is a promising 2nd year winger who is very good at creating plays for himself.

Satan will fit nicely next to Michael Peca, his teammate from Buffalo who were the top 2 fowards for the 99 Eastern Conference Champion Sabres.

After reading your comments, I had a conference call with the local nuthouse and it turns out you’re the guy who escaped the other day.

I don’t know anything about weinhandl, but I know the Sabres want to deal Satan….in last night’s victory over Toronto, Satan pulled his glove off and pertended to make a call after his breakaway goal. He has stated in the Buffalo news that he expects to be traded.

Before the Toronto game, Buffalo was 8 points behind the Isles…..yet after the Sabres win and an Isles loss, the Sabres are 6 points back with one game in hand as they play St. louis on Sunday. If the Sabres were to win tonight and be 4 points back of the Isles, with the same amount of games left to be played (13 or 14) they would be foolish to send Satan to the team they are trying to catch in the standings. So if the Sabres win tonight Satan will NOT be TRADED to the ISLES…..but he should definately be traded to someone if they could get good value…..apparently Satan has wanted out of Buffalo for over a year now, but he is the Sabres only true sniper…..

Does Parrish bring a physical presence or just offensive???

I’m sure the Sabres would love Zach Parise from the Devils but who knows if they could strikle that deal

SATAN WILL NOT BE TRADED TO THE LEAFS, SO TAKE THAT THOUGHT BACK TO TORONTO AND BURN IT….WHY DOES TORONTO NEED HIM ANYWAY????

Zhitnik is trying to resign with the Sabres, so I wouldnt think he’ll be traded; apparently he wants to stay in Buffalo

Look for Curtis Brown to be traded also if the Sabres become Sellers
