I think Jagr is on his way to New York. It's either he gets there or the Rangers will trade for a defencman. I think they should get Jagr though.

I say get rid of Lindros for him or give them draft picks.

It's alright, I'm just used to speaking that way.

In a way, we are apart of the team. We're their financial outlet. We come to fill up the seats, buy the memorabilia, and watch them on tv. We're the ones who keep the faith and keep the fanbase going, keyword there being fanbase. Without a fanbase, a team is just a failing team... ex: Pittsburgh and the southeastern teams. We're not directly apart of the team, but there's a link there... I don't know what to call it.... sentimentally? My mind is blank right now trying to think.

I agree, but you’re complaining about, why not just push it aside and not comment then? Your point of view makes sense, but your actions don’t, and they contradict each other. Just don’t let it get to you, could be an even worse and more ridiculous and far out Leafs rumor like Joe Thornton to the Leafs for Antropov, Trevor Kidd, Tellqvist, a bag of pucks, and a bottle of Maple Syrup.

I understand your view, but I prefer a discussion about something a little more official then this. Don’t you think that it’s been too many rumors about Jagr? Sather is not dumb; he’ll work to something that will help his hockey club.

This gives reason to believe the Rangers are interested in possibly Sergei Gonchar or Brendon Witt.

I agree for the most part, I don't think that Washington will get that small of a return, but hey... Sather works his magic and shafts teams that he trades with, Edmonton being the only exception.

Good points.

The health is an issue, but right now, the Rangers need a finisher. I hate to go to this, but it's a last resort. I don't think we'll be screwed by the salary cap, if anything, Jagr being on the team would make us call up younger players due to the fact that we have little cap room with him. So it actually might be a blessing in disguise.
