Jovo to the Rangers???

The Toronto Sun is reposting that the rangers are not done making moves. It is reported that the rangers are trying very hard to pry Ed Jovanovski out of Phoenix. In order to get Jovo cop the Rangers will have to make some serious moves as he carries a significant salary cap hit and also holds a no-trade clause.

HTR is not too sure why the Coyotes would be so willing to part with Jovo. Phoenix is a team that is in desperate need of veteran leadership and Gretzky could really use Jovo’s veteran presence to try to bring his team back to respectability.

New York is gonna have to give up A LOT for Jovo.  I could see Kasparitis going over as a replacement for Jovo plus a forward, but who will New York be willing to part with?  Gretz probably wants youth.

Makes more sense at the trade deadline.

This won't happen, but if it does Mara would defenitly be traded in a package with some of the youth, which would go against everything Sather said he's gonna do, besides the fact that they signed gomez and drury

With  "The Incompetent One" as Head Coach, failed part owner, anything is possible. Maybe Gretz., Maloney, Moss will just give Jovo. to the Rangers, as they have done with numerous Coyote salary dumps.
