the blackhawks are fudged for next year. They will loose either sharp, toes, or kane. I f any other GM signs one of chicagos RFAs then it's game over for the blackhawks.

Montreals defence is going to blow chunks. They will be exposed big time. I remember the days of the young speedy habs blowing past hal gill and giving the leafs fits…oh how the times have changed!lol! The chery on top of it all is that the leafs stole the habs second best defensemen and their best defensive defensemen.

    p.s.

Dany Heatley makes me wanna puke. This guy is unreal and should be kicked outta of the league. Send him to russia or something. He doesn't deserve a break, he has been forgiven once for a horrible thing and now he pulls this. He just slapped two teams right in the face. I'm sure Dan Snyder would be happy to play anywhere. Heatley can rot in hell as far as i'm concerned.

lol to the raw ass…but why do you think those deals are not doable?  What makes them seem outlandish to you?  i was even wondering about a deal including but not limited to Zherdev for Radulov…. considering that Radulov went to Russia illegally and may/may not return….

he's no where near kovalaev! he couldn't touch kovalev on his best day! the guys a stiff!

and we'll still finish wayyyyyy ahead of the make me laffs!

  9. Stuv_Dogg says:

    Hhahahahahahhahahahhahaha … good one.

Let's see:  Your goalie is still a sieve who can't play under pressure.  Your defense consists of Markhov and a bunch of has-beens and never-will-be's.  Your forwards, if you stood them on top of each other, are still collectively shorter than Hal Gill and couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag and your GM should get a cameo appearance on DESPERATE Housewives.

You might be right in finishing ahead of the Leafs, but I wouldn't say way (or wayyyyyy) ahead.  And IF you do finish ahead of the Leafs, Hab Nation should enjoy it because it is probably the last time it will happen for many, many years.  My guess is that the Habs are scrambling for 8th seed next year.  Remember, last year they were barely hanging on by a thread and this was after a hot start, and your team is collectively weaker than it was when it struggled to the finish.

Have a fun season, Hab fans!  Us Leaf fans sure are gonna have a fun season at your expense.  Yeah, we suck, but at least we know it.  It's funny to see how bad your team sucks but how you (collectively) think you've got something decent.

    At where…9th??

  11. TheLeafNation91 says:

The guy nearly tied Kovalev in points…

  12. DJTOKid says:

Yah the habs are going down hill fast. Bob Gaineys ego has gotten in his way as a general manager. They are becoming the Ny rangers, all these dumb signings and over paying for people. Giving up good prospects for an overpaid under acheiving undersized center is what the leafs used to do.

like I said oh how the times have changed.

4.5 million is too much for a guy who blocks shots and hits but 6 million for a 40 goal scorer is a rip off?
