Kaberle, Boyle or Campbell To Chicago

According to Eklund at HockeyBuzz.com, the final touches are being put on a deal that could happen within the next 72 hours that would see one of Tomas Kaberle (TOR), Dan Boyle (TB) or Brian Campbell (BUF) being dealt to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for Cam Barker +.

It is also reported that Nik Antropov (TOR) could be involved, should the Leafs and Blackhawks swing a deal. Antropov’s name has also recently been mentioned with the Calgary Flames.

Eklund is also reporting that the Buffalo Sabres are looking to lure Mikael Handzus to their organization.

Lastly, he reports that David Poile could be the Leafs’ next GM come next fall.

**I know Eklund isn’t too trustworthy, but it’s interesting to hear what he has to say. So bash me all you want for posting this**

I agree he can be a very offensive defensman at times and the Flames are using him on the PP…… its working out great…… but look at his stats in Chicago. In 2 seasons, very ingury plagued, he had 22 points and was -35, in 92 games. This season in Calgary he has 22 points in only 43 games and is +9. He didn't help Chicago's back end when he was there, even though he had the talent too.
