Keith Tkachuk Rumors

The Edmonton Journal is reporting that the latest trade talk is not bothering Keith Tkachuk. It is also noted that the Bruins, Black Hawks, Blue Jackets, Penguins and the Oilers are showing interest in the aging veteran player.

In this article it is noted that he best possible fit may be the Boston Bruins because of the fact that Tkachuk went to Boston University and was born in the Boston area.

Although the article speculates that he Bruins may be able to trade a second round draft choice for Tkachuk HTR believes that it will take much more than that in order to land the services of the huge veteran.

People are dying for a deal to get done in Boston. Why?! They say it'll replace Sturms missing goals. How can you be so sure? We have 4 solid lines. Even the fourth line plays solid minutes every game and gets us PP chances. Not many teams have 4th lines that can do that. Bitz, Yelle, Thornton is a great tandem and sadly any deal, even Keith for a 2nd round pick would force one of them out of the lineup. There is no need to mess with a team that is 1st in the LEAGUE. Sorry, you can't get my vote on any deal would be good.

For those Boston fans, i'm sure you remember the Patriots first SB win. We had no superstars on the team. They won by a team style play every game. The Bruins live by that gameplay too. We give solid minutes to all 18 skaters. Leave the team and chemistry alone. I have lived to see the C's, Patriots, and Sox win it multiple times each. Let me see my team win it now.

I would like to see Edmonton go for him at the deadline. Ktchauk-Horcoff-Hemsky, love that line.
