Hudler…maybe. I’d really rather they didn’t let go of Kronwall. Chelios is almost through, and Kronwall managed to displace both Dandenault and Rivers. Sure, neither of those guys are bona-fide superstars, but I don’t imagine beating out two guys with NHL experience in your first pro season is too easy.

They were talking about it on FSD. Said the only problem was the 2 years left on the contract. If they talk about it on FSD it has to have some truth to it.

Exactly, and anyone who watched the Detroit-Colorado game last week would guess that Stevie's knee was bothering him again. He was RW on a line with Draper and Maltby. Lang might just be a good fit.

Second, in response to the original article, what good would Walz, Peca, or Rucchin do? All of those guys are defensive forwards, and two of them are centers. From what I've seen lately, the need another scorer, even if it's just somebody who can pick up 20-25 goals in a year, maybe another Ray Whitney type.

That offer is really not all that ridiculous. Remember last year? Avery, Kuznetsov, and two draft picks for Mathieu Schneider? Sure, Avery worked out all right, but Kuznetsov still hasn't done anything to even merit his playing everyday.

Second, the Wings will NEVER trade Fischer. I doubt if there's a team in the league who wouldn't jump at the chance to get him. It would take a hell of a lot more than Robert Lang, though.

The only problem with that thought is that is sounds an awful like last year's Avery, Kuznetsov and two pick for Schneider debacle. I'm not saying that Schneider didn't work out, but I think Avery is what the Wings have needed all year. He plays a little more inspired than some of these guys.

I wouldn't mind losing Devereaux, but Barnes plays the same style as Avery. They cannot keep giving away all of their tougher prospects for players who are solid, but nearing the end of the road.

Was'nt Yzy supossed to play RW this seson.... that wold mean that they'll be wanting a firstline center. This sense i beleave Datzuk, Z:ta and Hull are line mates...
